Day01 Arrival at Lhasa (Overnight in Lhasa)
A local guide will meet you at Lhasa Gongar airport and transfer you to downtown Lhasa (100KM). You can enjoy the beautiful view on the way to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo River and Lhasa River.Hotel rooms are available for immediate check-in. The rest of the day will be free for your leisure and adapting yourself to the high elevation.
Day02 Lhasa City Tour (B Overnight in Lhasa)
After breakfast, you’re heading to visit the famous Potala Palace,listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the landmark of Pan-Tibet plateau,built in the 7th century by the great Tibetan king-Songtsen Gampo, Jokhang Lamasery the sacred place for every Buddhists, and stroll along the bustling Barhkor Street,filled with various local handicrafts.
Day03 Lhasa/Gyantse (B Overnight in Gyantse)
After breakfast, drive to Gyantse old town. En route visit one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet— Yamdrok Yumtso, and Palkhor Chode Monastery-a complex composed of sixteen monasteries of the three different orders: Gelugpa, Sakyapa and Bhoton. Hotel check in will be done after dinner.
Day04 Gyantse/Shigatse (B Overnight in Shigatse)
After breakfast, drive 90km west to the second largest city in Tibet-Shigatse. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery which is the official seat of the Panchen Lama. After the tour, you get to check in hotel.
Day05 Shigats/Lhasa (B Overnight in Lhasa)
In the morning, you’ll be back to Lhasa and check in hotel after arrival. Free is yours for the rest of the time.
Day06 Departure of Lhasa, end of Service (B)
It is the end of the tour, we will send you to airport or railway station for departure. You can ask us to book transportation back to your residential city. Hope to serve you again.

Lhasa city tour:
D3 Lhasa City Tour (BLD, Overnight in Lhasa)
After breakfast, visit Drepond Monastery. Giant Buddha Show, the most important event of Shoton Festival, is held here every August. And Norbulinka, the summer palace for Dalai Lama, it is an elegant park named as the jewel garden.
Or Lake Namtso one day tour:
D3 Lhasa/Lake Namtso/Lhasa (400km, BLD, Overnight in Lhasa)
After breakfast, drive north to Lake Namtso(4718m)-one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. It is the highest second largest salty lake in China and you may enjoy the most beautiful scenery there of the whole Tibet. Then drive back to Lhasa in late afternoon.
* B. the tour can be extended to Mt. Everest Base Camp if you have THREE more days. The extra itinerary will be:
D5 Shigatse/Tingri county (232km, BLD, Overnight in Tingri)
In the morning, keep driving to west to Tingri county. En route visit the famous Sakya Monastery, the center of the Sakya Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Then drive 130km to Tingri county, pass the Gyatsola Pass with 5252m above sea level, where you can overlook magnificent Mt. Everest under a clear day.
D6 Tingri/Rongbuk Monastery, Mt. Everest Base Camp/Lhaze (287km, BLD, Overnight in Lhaze)
After breakfast, drive to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Take the environment-protection vehicle to Rongbuk Monastery, which is 5,800 meters above sea level, the highest temple in the world. Then take horse carriage to Mt. Everest Base Camp, where you can view the magnificent snow peaks seem to be exhibited just in front of you. After 1 or 2 hours visit, drive back to Lhaze county, and stay overnight there.
D7 Lhaze/Lhasa(457km, BLD, Overnight in Lhasa)
Drive back to Lhasa, it will be a long journey today, you should get up early. Arrive at Lhasa late that day.
* C. the tour can be extended to Kathmandu through Sino-Nepal border Zhangmu town if you have THREE more days. The extra itinerary will be:

In the morning, keep driving to west to Tingri county. En route visit the famous Sakya Monastery, the center of the Sakya Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Then drive 130km to Tingri county, pass the Gyatsola Pass with 5252m above sea level, where you can overlook magnificent Mt. Everest under a clear day.
D6 Tingri/Rongbuk Monastery, Mt. Everest Base Camp/Zhangmu (348km, BLD, Overnight in Zhangmu)
