Drive to Shigatse via Gyantse. On the way, you will amazed by the beauty of Yamdrok Lkae—one
of the 3 most significant holy lakes in Tibet. Also visit Gyantse Zong and Pelkhor Monasteryin
Gyantse. Then keep on driving to Shigatse. Stay in Shigatse.
D5 : Lhasa-Shegar-Rongbuk Monastery
Drive to Rongbuk via Shegar. Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everst. Overnight at Rongbu tent Guesthouse.(dorm beds).
D6 : Rongbuk-Shigatse
If you are lucky enough, you will enjoy the spectacular sunrise at Base Camp.Back to Rongbuk and drive back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse;
D7 : Shigatse- Lhasa
In the morning visit Tashilunpo Monastery—the Seat of Panchen Lama. Drive back to Lhasa in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa ;
D8 : Leave for your next destination
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport or train station and leave for the next destination.
