Drive over the Himalayas by way of the incredible Arniko Highway that connects Kathmandu with Lhasa. Enjoy fabulous mountain scenery enroute, visit mystical Buddhist monasteries of Tashilungpo at Shigatse, the Kumbum Stupa at Gyantse, and drive past the beautiful Turquoise lake. Day 2 : Drive to Tingri (4342m/8 hrs) crossing two passes Nyalam (3800m) and Lalungla (5050m) with excellent views (weather permitting) of the lofty Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest. Overnight at EVEREST Hotel.

Day 3 : Drive from Tingri to Xigatse (3900m/8 hrs) crossing two passes Lhakpala (5200m) and Tsuola (4500m). Overnight at Xigatse Hotel.

Day 4 : Sightseeing tour of Tashilungpo Monastery and Xigatse Market. Afternoon drive to Gyantse (3950m/3 hrs). Sightseeing tour of Phalkor Monastery, Kumbum Stupa and Gyantse Market. Overnight at Gyantse Hotel.

Day 5 : Drive Gyantse to Lhasa (3650m/8 hours) crossing two passes Karola (5010m) and Kambala (4794m) via Yamdrok Lake (Turquoise Lake). Overnight hotel.

Day 6 : Sightseeing tour of Drepung & Jokhang Monasteries and Barkhor Market. Overnight hotel.

- Potala Palace: Winter Was the Dalai Lama, a big, beautiful maze of corridors and stairways through countless rooms richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques. She spent the rise of Red Palace White Palace, where the pilgrims offering silk scarves, coins or yak butter to burn the shrines combine to an unforgettable experience. Please note: You must be part of a long staircase.
- Jokhang Temple: Smaller and easier to handle, to the Potala-4-story, gold roof in the temple is the center of a rich and flourishing of Tibetan Buddhism. Many people here regularly to pray, the temple is the Barkhor Street and crowded by pilgrims and visitors. The lights are burning yak butter rich in statues of the Sakyamuni Buddha brought to Tibet by Princess Wen Cheng of the 7th Century.
- Barkhor Street: Watch the pilgrims, the local clothing from different parts of Tibet, since the circle clockwise around the Jokhang Temple for prayer wheels, or, fell near the door. Join the residents and visitors to purchase local products the colorful stalls, or in a tea or coffee, to the parade in transit.

- Basomtso: comprises 26 square kilometers (10 square miles), the crystal clear waters of the picturesque lake, the green that it peaks around the lake.Basomtso in the county Cuogao Village Gongbujiangda, Nyingchi. It is in the upper valley of the Ba River, 50 km from the city Gongbujiangda, 39.6 kilometers from the highway No. 318 and 370 km in the Tibetan capital Lhasa.

Day 4
Location & Transport: Lhasa to Nyingchi
Activities today: Lulang forest area, the huge Cypress Wood in Nyingchi

- Forest Lulang zone: The most impressive is the Tibetan cypress forest on 10 hectares in the village in the County of Nyingchi Bagi in 3040 meters above sea level
- Big Cypress Nyingchi Wood: Wood of giant cypress trees in the valley of the lower reaches of the river and the river Yaluzhangbu width Niyang 3000 to 3400 meters. The Giant Cypress Nature Reserve Banks of Canton, there are hundreds of dispersion of the opinion that these huge cypress in Tibet, which is characterized by its large claws and tree trunks in a vertical position.
