The ticket for Chamdo-Lhasa airline will rise to 910 yuan from the current 830 yuan since May 30, according to the Tibet branch of Air China. This is the first time that the company increases ticket price since the airline’s operation 16 years ago.
“The price adjustment is based on the local economic development and has been approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China,” said a staff worker of Air China.
Besides, new scheduled flights may be added for Chamdo-Lhasa airline to meet increasing tourists.
