Day 01 Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu. Have been greeted by your guide at the airport and the hotel.
Day 02 Chengdu / Lhasa / Xian (AB, L)
Fly to the holy city of Lhasa, the capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet. In their mountain fastness of the Himalayas has locked Tibet had a unique take on the imagination of the West. You are welcomed by the guide at the airport, then Tsetang drive.
Xian Day 03: Lhasa (AB, L)
On the morning of the first visit Yumbulagen Tibetans and Tibetan Forbidden City Palace of the Kings. On the way to Lhasa, the ferry to Samye Monastery, the first monastic establishment in Tibet. After the trip to Lhasa and check into the hotel on arrival.
Day 04 Lhasa (AB, L)
The route starts at the Potala Palace religious building in the 7th Century by the famous Tibetan king Songtzen Gampo. The current was from the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th Century built. It was as the “Winter Palace” in 1750 when the Dalai Lama Norbulingka 7 Structure of the park as their residence known. After lunch, visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in the old city of Lhasa. Songtzen King Gampo built this temple in the middle of the 7th Century AD But it is the holiest place in Tibet. Pilgrims come here to honor all of Tibet.
Day 05 Lhasa (AB, L)
Full-day trips take you to the Drepung Monastery. “Drepung,” in Tibetan means “hill rice” because it seems that a large mound of white rice monastery. This monastery has an area of 150,000 square meters, with slats of 7700 and was the largest monastery in Asia. Then you can visit Norbulingka Park. In 1752, the palace of the Dalai Lama 7 build here for the first Dalai Lama to their political and religious activities during the summer. Norbulingka today has become a public park rules for a picnic, relaxing and entertaining.
Day 06 Lhasa / Gyantze (AB, L)
Drive Gyantze the walled city, once at the crossroads of two major caravan routes, one in India and Nepal. Go Yamdrok Yamtso huge lake, Lake sacred by Tibetans. Visit Monastery Palkhor on arrival.
Day 07 Gyantze / Shigatse (AB, L)
Take a bus to Shigatse. After a rest of the arriving aircraft on the Tashilhunpo Monastery, traditional seat of the Panchen Lama, the second most sacred of Tibet.
Day 08 Shigatse / Lhasa (AB, L)
Journey to Lhasa and reach in the afternoon. Enjoy your free time in the day.
Day 09 Lhasa-Chengdu (AB)
After breakfast at the airport and fly to Chengdu. Service composition.
